Heroes of 369th (old 15th) New York [African American] Infantry, first of Colonel Hayward's command, return to this country, ready to debark at Hoboken, New Jersey. These men covered themselves with glory on the battlefields of France and not a man was captured by the Huns. Soldier in center is wearing a helmet which he took from one of the Huns.
